Successful Bass Open

Been wanting to try jigs for a WHILE! I finally pulled the trigger today and I’m so happy I did! I used a craw trailer and a 1/4o jig with a brush guard. Walked the length of the dock and casted toward shoreline. This gorgeous largie came from the darkness and swiped it. I was so happy to reel it in before a giant pike swiped my whole set up in one swoop a few casts later.. 😅

Some awesome humans on the dock offered to take this. Love meeting like-minded people.

Great couple days to say the least. My daughter caught and kissed more fish than normal this weekend. Wish she was standing there for this one😅🩶
